This is the #X810-NA Stationmaster Special Uncatalogued Set that Lionel made circa 1959. This Set includes the #245 Scout Steam Engine, the #1130T Streamline Tender, the #6014-100 Red Airex Box Car, the #6162-1 Blue NYC Gondola with Canisters, the #6465-85 Black Two Dome Tank Car, the #6017-1 Caboose and the #908 Union Station Cardboard Station. Also includes the #245 Instruction Sheet, the #908 Instruction Sheet, the #1802-H Special Layout Instruction Sheet, the #953 Figure Set Instruction Sheet, the #1613-10 Train Outfit Instruction Sheet, the 1959 Lionel Consumer Catalog, the 1959 Lionel Accessory Catalog and a Lube Package. Missing the Track, Transformer and the #953 Figure Set. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Excellent Plus to Like New Minus Condition, minor signs of use and age. The Original Set Box is in (8-) Condition with wear along the seams and one split side-seam, could be fixed to be in the (8+) Range. The Original Inner Boxes range from (8-) to (9-) Condition, with the #6465-85 Box having wear on one end (missing the interior flaps) and the #245 Box missing the Perf section. The Paper Bag for the Station is very nice and without any issues. A Very Rare Set and one of the few where the Set Box was large enough to hold the #908. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $30.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance. |
