This is the #2289WS Steam Freight Set that Lionel made in 1957. It was the first Super O Set issued, and includes the #736 Diecast Berkshire Steam Engine with Smoke, Headlight and Magnetraction, #2046W Whistle Tender w/ '2046W' on sides, #3361X Operating Log Dump Car, #6430 Flat Car w/Trailers, #3359 Operating Twin-Bin Dump Car, #3494-275 State of Maine Operating Box Car, #6427 Lionel Lines Porthole Caboose, plus Paperwork, Manual, Accessory Catalog, and Peripherals as shown including scarce and correct Operating Envelope with rubber-stamped '39 X' that included four Remote Control Blades.
Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in overall Like New to Like New Minus Condition.
Includes one of the best Outfit Boxes we have offered, and all nice Interiors as shown with Envelope and Insert for #3359.
